UXBRIDGE, ONT. — Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Oak Valley Health have prequalified five companies to deliver the .Ìý
Companies were prequalified based onÌýaÌýRequest for Qualifications process that began in December 2025.ÌýÌý
The prequalified companies are:Ìý
- EBC Inc.Ìý
- EllisDon CorporationÌý
- MaystarÌýGeneral Contractors Inc.Ìý
- Multiplex Construction Canada LimitedÌý
- Pomerleau Inc.Ìý
A Request for Proposals is expected to be issued to theseÌýcontractors this summer, explains a release.ÌýÌý
Once submissions are received, IO and Oak Valley Health will evaluate the proposals, select a preferredÌýcompanyÌýand negotiate a final contract.ÌýÌý
AÌýsuccessful company is expected to be announced in spring 2027.Ìý
AtÌýapproximately 140,000-square-feetÌýthe new Uxbridge hospital site will add more patient beds and expand key services such as ambulatory care and diagnostic imaging.Ìý
As part of the new redevelopment, the hospital’s clinical areas will include:  Ìý
- Ambulatory services Ìý
- Emergency services Ìý
- Inpatient services Ìý
- Diagnostic Imaging and cardiorespiratory servicesÌý
- Inpatient laboratory Ìý
- Inpatient pharmacy Ìý
- Administrative services  Ìý
- Support servicesÌý
The project is being delivered using a design-bid-build model.
