VANCOUVER – International design firm has opened a new office in Vancouver and has also announced David O’Regan has joined the firm as studio manager, architecture in the city.
In this role, O’Regan will be responsible for building and leading the local architecture team while strengthening Ware Malcomb’s presence in the western Canadian market, explains a release.
“As a Vancouver native and licensed architect, David brings more than 17 years of architectural experience delivering complex health care, industrial, retail and commercial projects across Canada,” said Frank Di Roma, regional vice-president for Ware Malcomb, in a statement. “With his deep understanding of the local market, combined with his broad national experience, this positions him well to support our clients and projects in this region.”
The new office will be located at 800-525 West 8th Avenue.

Ware Malcomb has completed several notable projects in the Vancouver area, including:
- – Burnaby, B.C.: Architectural design services for a 707,056 square foot, two-level industrial project for Oxford Properties on a 23.45-acre site.
- – North Vancouver: Interior fit-out of a 2,950 square foot bank branch within a new mixed-use development, including a full scope of interior design and mechanical, electrical and structural engineering services.
Ware Malcomb’s Canadian footprint already includes established offices in Vaughan, Toronto and Ottawa.
