KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Cedar Coast and Orion Construction recently celebrated the opening of Amadeus, a new purpose-built residential rental community located on the Tranquille Corridor of Kamloops’ North Shore.
According to a release, Amadeus represents Cedar Coast’s first residential development investment in Kamloops.
The six-storey building located at 156 Tranquille Rd. has 98 residential rental homes with a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. The development is approximately 66,500 square feet and includes a ground-floor potential commercial space unit, a rooftop patio with firepit, a potential outdoor sauna and barbecue, a full-service fitness facility, secure bike storage and storage lockers located on the residential floors.
“The vision for Amadeus was always to contribute to the continued growth and vibrancy of Kamloops’ North Shore while helping address the need for quality rental housing in the community,” said Jason Lee, vice-president of development with Cedar Coast, in a statement. “We are proud to have worked collaboratively with local architects, trades, real estate professionals, and property management partners to bring this project to life. We believe Amadeus reflects the energy and momentum happening on the North Shore and will provide residents with a modern, welcoming place to call home.”
